Just when EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) think they can finally repair their relationship, everything falls apart. For weeks, EJ has believed that his own son shot him. As soon as Johnny confirmed what actually happened, Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) showed up to make an arrest.
Once Johnny is released on bail, he tries to make sure EJ isn’t going to do anything rash but that is easier said than done. All EJ can do is smile as Belle Black (Martha Madison) receives an envelope at the Salem PD. When she opens it, she spies the memory card that EJ said was missing.
