Days of our Lives Weekly Spoilers: Loved Ones Return to Salem to Bid Farewell to John
Forever hero John Black (Drake Hogestyn) was there to help save that other forever hero, Bo Brady (Peter Reckell), but John will end up paying with his life. He has burns on a third of his body and is barely hanging on. Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) manages to revive him when he codes, but she only bought time for family and friends to say goodbye.
Carrie Brady (Christie Clark), Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) return to town to pray for John, beg him to live, but also to bid him farewell because his prognosis looks bleak. Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) is brought to tears as he looks to God to help his best friend. Poor Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) lies with her husband in his hospital bed, knowing it is almost the end. After all the months he was gone, he returned home a hero.
Every time the night of EJ DiMera’s (Daniel Feuerriegel) shooting is brought up, Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) has a strange reaction. She finally confesses that she saw Johnny DiMera there that night, and he had a gun.
Rachel remembers seeing EJ and Johnny fighting, but the person EJ saw with the gun just shot at him and didn’t fight, so Johnny doesn’t seem to be the culprit. What will Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) do with this new information? Surely, she will find a way to use it to her advantage.
Xander Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) day goes from bad to worse when Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) declares herself to be TeamSarah and kicks him out of the mansion. When Xander stops by the hospital, that’s where Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) finds him and places him under arrest.
Is Xander going back to his old ways with a gusto? He is no stranger to Statesville and what he did to Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) was beyond the pale. It also looks like Philip is the only one who can get him out of this mess.
