The Masked Singer presenter Davina McCall is reportedly preparing for her second marriage, as sources indicate she is engaged to her partner, Michael Douglas. Friends of the 57-year-old star revealed to The Sun that the couple quietly became engaged during the summer months, with other reports suggesting it happened before they travelled to the Burning Man festival in Nevada three weeks ago. An insider reportedly shared with the publication that “everyone is so thrilled for them,” regarding the happy couple. This news emerges shortly after Michael hinted to The Mirror that wedding plans were on the horizon. Speaking at the National Television Awards, he revealed, “There could be wedding bells on the way. Who knows? I'm not going anywhere else if that's why you mean. But we're in no rush for any of that, we just enjoy each other's company.”

Davina and Michael, a hairdresser, initially crossed paths when he began styling her hair during her days presenting Big Brother. Romance blossomed years later, and the duo made their relationship official in 2019. They took the significant step of moving in together in 2023. Michael notably stood by Davina’s side during a challenging period last year when the broadcaster underwent an operation to remove a benign brain tumour. According to a close friend, Michael has been “her absolute rock” during her recovery. This experience reportedly gave Davina a “new lease of life,” leading her to think “f*** it, life is short,” and decide it was time to “lock in the love of her life.” Their chemistry is described as “insane,” akin to “lovesick teenagers.”

Before Michael entered her life, Davina had two previous marriages. She briefly wed retail manager Andrew Leggett in 1997 for several months. Subsequently, she married television host Matthew Robertson, known for his work on Pet Rescue. They exchanged vows at Eastnor Castle in Herefordshire in 2000 and later welcomed three children: Holly, 23, Tilly, 21, and Chester, 18. Matthew and Davina’s marriage concluded in 2018. Davina previously told The Guardian that she and Michael were “really good friends as hairdresser and client,” sharing secrets and helping each other navigate experiences, even when they were both in other relationships.
