dancer and movement storyteller. Her performance, SHIVA... the Kind, reimagined the ancient deity Shiva through five values: Soul, Humanity, Inclusivity, Valour, and Action. With powerful grace, Sohini brought mythology to life, using dance to simplify the profound philosophies of the Shiva Puranas for a global audience.
Her storytelling wasn’t confined to the stage. In a series of inclusive dance workshops, Sohini taught children, adults, and participants with special abilities the symbols and stories of Shiva. These sessions culminated in joyful group performances where every body moved in harmony — celebrating shared experience over difference.
The grand finale saw a fusion of dance and music, with Sohini's rendition of Shiva’s Ananda Tandav radiating energy, unity, and transformation.“Dance creates empathy — connecting body movements to your soul, your inner Shiva,” Sohini said, as the Alps echoed the mantra: We Are All One.Backstage, laughter and joy filled the air, as participants of all abilities celebrated their shared journey — dancing together in the spirit of Shiva.
