Croatia - Dubrovnik-adds-Wheeler-to-their-roster-ex-Guaymas

KK Dubrovnik (Premijer Liga) added to their roster 27-year old American guard Jamari Wheeler (185cm-77kg-1997, college: Ohio State) for new 2025-26 season. Wheeler is the second import player in the roster as Montenegrin Marko Loncovic signed here earlier.
He played this summer at Ostioneros de Guaymas in Mexican CIBACOPA. In 16 games just recently he recorded 7.4ppg, 2.8rpg, 3.3apg and 1.4spg. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. He also played for Apaches (LBE) in Mexican league where in 27 games he averaged 12.4ppg, 4.5rpg, 6.0apg and 2.4spg. The other team he played shortly was Ostioneros de Guaymas (CIBACOPA). Wheeler contributed to his team winning the regular season and make it to the final.
He is quite experienced player. Wheeler's career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in four different countries. Wheeler tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Slovakia (Prievidza), Mexico (Rayos de Wheelerrmosillo and Freseras), NBA G League (Grand Rapids Gold and Motor City Cruise) and The Basketball Tournament (HV Hoopers). He was also voted to Big Ten All-Defensive Team back in 2020 and 2021.
Wheeler won Mexican CIBACOPA championship title in 2024.
He graduated from Ohio State in 2022 and it will be his fourth season as a professional player. Wheeler played also for The Pennsylvania State University for 4 years.
