The Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE) announced the trade halt of Truworths Limited shares on the bourse effective 07 March 2024 after the Company applied for voluntary suspension of its securities from trading in a bid to attend to some compliance related matters. The ZSE said the market will be advised on any further developments pertaining this matter in a few days.

TSL Limited announced that it will hold the 66^th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Shareholders of TSL Limited at 1200 on the 26^th of March 2024, at The Venue, 23 Kenny Road, Avondale, Harare, Zimbabwe. The meeting will include a special business of the renewal of a share buy-back authority.

Bridgefort Capital Limited issued a cautionary statement on the 1^st of March 2024, further to the statement issued on 2 February 2024, advising Class A Preferred Shareholders that the Company is concluding valuations and transaction agreements for the acquisition of Diaspora Kapita Limited and its subsidiary companies which are involved in financial services and fintech, predominantly in South Africa. The transaction involves the disposal of the BridgeFort Capital Limited interest in MedTech, the transfer of the listing from ZSE to the Victoria Falls Stock Exchange (VFEX) and then the immediate acquisition of 100% of Diaspora Kapita (Proprietary) Limited.

Banking stock, NMBZ, also advised shareholders and the investing public that the Company is involved in negotiations for a potential acquisition of a complementary business. If concluded, the acquisition may have a material effect on the price of the Company’s securities, and thus, shareholders and the investing public are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the Company’s securities.
