Cooper Flagg watched on from the bench as his Duke Blue Devils defeated the Louisville Cardinals in the ACC championship while he recovered from an ankle injury.
Despite missing the final two games of the conference tournament, Flagg is expected to return for the NCAA Tournament. On Sunday night, the field of 68 was officially revealed, and the Blue Devils earned the No. 1 seed in the East Region.
Ahead of his tournament debut, Gatorade released an advertisement that featured Flagg and two of the biggest women's college basketball stars: USC Trojans' JuJu Watkins and UConn Huskies' Paige Bueckers.
The commercial launched Gatorade's new campaign called "The Take," which highlights its three college basketball athletes.
Both Watkins and Bueckers are going dancing as well, with the potential to meet in the Elite Eight as both USC and UConn were placed in Spokane Region 4.
This new commercial also marked a career milestone for Flagg, becoming his first Gatorade campaign since signing on in October.

“This is my first Gatorade campaign since becoming a Gatorade athlete," said Flagg, the projected No. 1 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. "I grew up watching the greats in iconic Gatorade commercials, and to now be in one myself alongside such talented athletes is surreal.”

Watkins and Bueckers have proven to be two of the best in women's college basketball, with both projected to become first-team All-Americans. While Bueckers already has a National Player of the Year award to her name, Watkins is widely predicted to receive her first this season.
Both No. 1 seed USC and No. 2 UConn will be in action in the first round of the women's basketball tournament on Saturday. Meanwhile, Flagg and Duke will play on Friday.
