High pressure moves in to help whip up a #Top10WxDay in the Twin Cities on Thursday, with highs in the mid 70s and low humidity.

Northern Minnesota is under an air quality alert until 1 a.m. Friday. The area includes International Falls and the Tribal Nation of Red Lake.

Storm chances return on Friday night into early Saturday. There's a slight risk for strong winds and hail.

Temperatures gradually build back to summer over the weekend. With a few passing clouds overhead, temps will likely top out near 80 degrees Saturday and the low 80s on Sunday.

Highs return to the mid 80s by next week with heat and storm chances on the rise.
