Christopher Nolan's Sci-Fi Epic 'The Odyssey' Crushes Box Office, Setting New Milestones

Christopher Nolan's highly anticipated Greek epic, "The Odyssey," has rapidly cemented its status as a global box office phenomenon, surpassing $700 million worldwide in just 12 days since its July 15, 2026 release. This monumental achievement places it as the fourth highest-grossing film of 2026, with an impressive $320.5 million generated domestically and $407.4 million overseas, bringing its initial total to $727.9 million.

The film's momentum is showing no signs of slowing, as it is poised to join the exclusive billion-dollar club, a feat that would make it only Nolan's third film to reach this height, following "The Dark Knight" ($1.008 billion) and "The Dark Knight Rises" ($1.08 billion).
