Christmas Chocolate Shake-Up: Parents Ditch Old Traditions for New Holiday Treats

As the festive season approaches, new and exciting chocolate treat trends are emerging, offering parents innovative alternatives to traditional advent calendars. These trends cater to different preferences, ranging from luxurious, pre-made selections to creative, budget-friendly DIY projects.
One prominent trend features unique, fold-out chocolate boxes crafted by entrepreneur Diane Webster. These deluxe boxes are designed as a more exciting replacement for conventional supermarket advent calendars. Each box boasts four opulent layers filled with a diverse array of chocolate bars, including Double Deckers, Crunchie, Fudge, Twisted, Freddos, Milky Way, and Kinder treats. The centre of the box also contains a small selection of delicious chocolates. For those with a sweet tooth beyond chocolate, plenty of sweets such as Refreshers, WHAM bars, Chewits, Skittles, Drumsticks, and Vimto are also included. Diane, who runs 'My Kind of Flowers,' offers gluten-free versions and charges £45 per box, plus a £5 postage fee. She initiated her business in April, seeking an activity to keep busy after tragically losing her eldest daughter three years prior. Her impressive creations have garnered significant attention, with Diane now taking pre-orders with a deposit for Christmas due to high demand.
Social media users have enthusiastically embraced Diane’s chocolate boxes, with many mothers globally praising them as
