Ghanaian culinary advocate, Chef Abbys, joined the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, in a cooking session during his official visit to Ghana as part of the UK-Africa Mission.
The event, also featuring Chef Abiro, was organised under the Ghana Food Movement with support from the UK in Ghana. It formed part of broader efforts to strengthen UK-Africa relations through trade, investment, and cultural exchange.
Held in Accra, the session highlighted the role of food in promoting heritage and fostering cross-cultural collaboration.
Ghanaian and British recipes were prepared and shared, with discussions focused on the global potential of African cuisine.
Chef Abbys described the experience as a significant opportunity to showcase African food and reaffirmed her commitment to promoting African culinary heritage internationally.
