The Winnipeg Sea Bears (CEBL) have cut 25-year old ex-international 190cm guard Mason Bourcier (college: TWU). In three CEBL games he recently played, he averaged 3.3ppg, 1.0rpg, and 1.0apg this season. Last season, he played at Tartu Ulikool Maks & Moorits (KML) in the Estonian league. He played 12 games in Lat-Est BL where he had 11.2ppg, 2.8rpg, and 4.3apg. He was a member of the Canadian Senior National Team back in 2019.
Bourcier has played professionally in Estonia and the UK (Manchester) before.
Among many awards, his team won the CEBL Western Conference Regular Season in 2023. He was voted to the Canada West All-Rookie Team back in 2018.
Bourcier graduated from Trinity Western University in 2023 and is in his second season in pro basketball. He played for other colleges such as Newfoundland Growlers, Carleton University, University of British Columbia, and Vancouver Bandits.
