The Winnipeg Sea Bears (CEBL) signed 26-year-old Canadian ex-international 208cm forward Maurice Calloo (college: Oregon State, agency: Interperformances). He played this summer with Zonkeys de Tijuana in the Mexican CIBACOPA. In 7 games he recently played, he recorded 3.6ppg and 1.6rpg. Calloo also played for Tadamon Hrajel (LBL) in the Lebanese league. He was a member of the Canadian Senior National Team in 2022.
He is a very experienced player. Calloo has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to six different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). He has played professionally in Lebanon, Luxembourg (Grengewald), Mexico, Taiwan (Bank of Taiwan), NBA G League (SLC Stars and Windy City Bulls) and Canada (Rattlers and River Lions).
Calloo won the CEBL championship title in 2024.
He graduated from Oregon State in 2022 and it'll be his fifth season in pro basketball. Calloo played for other colleges like Indian Hills Community College and Oklahoma State University.
