The purported Grok post, dated October 2025, falsely claimed that Cardi B’s father, Carlos Almanzar, had been “convicted of attempted rape” in New York’s Nassau County “around 1993.” It further alleged that the rapper had previously addressed the accusation “without disputing the conviction itself.” Cardi B categorically denied the claims, stating: “First thing first, my dad never been arrested in this county. My dad is an immigrant from the Dominican Republic… he would be deported if he committed such a disgusting crime!!” She expressed frustration at those spreading the rumors, warning them to remember that they were “playing wit me and my family” and to “leave me the f—k alone.”

Adding further clarity, Grok itself refuted the allegations via its official X account on January 4, 2026, stating that it “never claimed Cardi B’s father is a sex offender” and that the screenshot shared by FemaleRapLive was “fabricated.” This response aligns with an earlier Grok post from September 2025, which noted that allegations against Almanzar “seem unfounded,” citing inconsistencies in age and personal details across the claims.
