BTS Delivers Jaw-Dropping '2.0' Performance on 'Tonight Show', Fans Can't Get Enough!

K-pop sensation BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys, continued their high-profile return with a second performance on NBC's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Following their Wednesday night rendition of “SWIM,” the septet, consisting of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook, captivated audiences from New York’s iconic Guggenheim Museum. This time, they delivered a slickly choreographed, prop-free routine of “2.0” from their groundbreaking new album, ARIRANG, all while sporting leather jackets and coats.

ARIRANG, BTS’s first album since their 2020 release 'Be', has already shattered numerous records. It has earned the title of the most-streamed K-pop album in Spotify history and remarkably, the most-streamed album in a single day in 2026. Shortly after its release, the album debuted at No. 1 on the ARIA Chart, marking their third chart-topper in Australia. The group is also on the verge of securing a third No. 1 on the Official U.K. Albums Chart, underscoring their immense global appeal and commercial success.

The momentum for BTS extends beyond music releases and late-night performances. Fans were treated to even more content with the premiere of the new Netflix documentary, “BTS: The Return,” which launched on March 27. This documentary promises an intimate, behind-the-scenes look into the creative process and making of the ARIRANG album.

Looking ahead, BTS is set to embark on a monumental world tour in April. V teased the upcoming concert experience during their appearance on Fallon, stating, “For this concert, we have prepared every single aspect like a secret weapon. It’s going to give you chills.” Produced by Live Nation, the tour will feature an innovative 360° in-the-round stage design. With 79 shows planned across 34 regions, it is poised to become the biggest K-pop tour of all time.

Further cementing their comeback, the group held a spectacular live show at Seoul’s Gwanghwamun Square the day after ARIRANG’s release. This event, livestreamed globally on Netflix as “BTS The Comeback Live | Arirang,” attracted a staggering 18.4 million global viewers, according to Netflix. The comeback concert achieved top spot in 24 countries and entered the weekly top 10 in 80 countries, demonstrating the unparalleled global reach and dedicated fanbase of BTS.
