Bruno Mars Ignites Anticipation With New Album 'The Romantic'!

Superstar Bruno Mars has officially announced his much-anticipated return to solo music with his fourth studio album, titled "The Romantic." The album is set to be released on February 27, following an initial taste of new music arriving on Friday, January 9. The announcement came on Wednesday, January 7, via Mars' social media, where he shared a preorder link and a visual.
This solo comeback follows a series of highly successful collaborative projects for Mars. Most recently, he achieved two significant hits: the duet "Die With a Smile" with Lady Gaga, which soared to No. 1 on Billboard’s year-end 2025 Hot 100 Songs chart, and his team-up with ROSÉ for "APT.," which secured the No. 9 spot on the same chart. "APT." has also garnered three nominations for the upcoming 68th Annual Grammy Awards, including the prestigious categories of Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
Prior to these collaborations, Bruno Mars joined forces with Anderson .Paak to form the acclaimed throwback R&B duo Silk Sonic. Their 2021 hit, "Leave the Door Open," reached No. 1 on the charts. Following Silk Sonic's successful Las Vegas residency at Park MGM in 2022, Mars embarked on a globe-spanning solo tour that continued through 2024, keeping his presence in the music scene active despite a hiatus from solo studio albums.
Mars' solo studio output has been notably scarce over the past decade. After an explosive debut in 2010 with "Doo-Wops & Hooligans," which produced chart-topping singles like "Just the Way You Are," "Grenade," and "Locked Out of Heaven," and further hits such as "When I Was Your Man" and "That’s What I Like" in subsequent years, his last solo album remained 2016’s "24K Magic." The long-awaited end to this drought was hinted at when Mars posted on Monday, "My album is done," setting the stage for "The Romantic."
