Rumours about Macron and his wife's relationship have caused them sleepless nights.

Their huge age gap and their love story of how it was love at first sight have been nit-picked by netizens.

France's first lady escalated her legal battle following a controversial Paris appeals court ruling that acquitted two women who claimed that she was born a man.

According to the New York Post, Brigitte has moved the matter to the Court of Cassation, which is France's highest appeals court, in the hope that the ruling will be overturned.

Rumours that Brigitte was transgender have swirled over the years, and she filed a lawsuit against the women, Amandine Roy, a spiritual medium, and Natacha Rey, a blogger.

The two released a video on YouTube in 2021, alleging that the first lady was a transgender Jean-Michel Trogneux.

Jean Michel is actually Brigitte's brother, and in the video, Amandine interviewed Natacha, who spoke about the state's conspiracy she had uncovered of Brigitte swapping genders.

The two were ordered to pay KSh 1,200,800 to Macron's wife and KSh 750,500 to her brother in damages.

According to France 24, the first lady's lawyer also revealed that her brother was also appealing the case in the country’s highest appeals court.

Here is what they had to say:

Onesmus Nzioki Nzioki:

"I wonder what would have happen if the role was reversed during the previous clip when they were disembarking from a plane in Vietnam."

Mwaki Ivana Mwak

"Candace Owen is being proven right."

Irene Adhiambo

"Lakini Ile slap alipea Prezo ni kama huwa anamtandika kimwnaum."

Kevin Dare:

"With the apparent size of the hands and feet and the wig I wouldn't bet against it being a bloke."

Richard 'Muzz' Murray:

"So if she's actually a man why does nowhere state this? Every article I've read says they guys were acquitted, but nowhere is officially stating she's a biological male. Who's lying?"

In other news, reported that Macron's wife shocked the nation when she slapped her husband in a viral video.

The two appeared to shove Macron's face as they landed in Vietnam.

The president, while saving face, turned to wave at the crowd and then descended the aeroplane's staircase.

The Elysée downplayed the video, doubting its authenticity, but later confirmed its genuineness.

The video caused a stir on social media.
