KK Leotar Trebinje (Division I) signed American guard Brett Thompson (185cm-82kg, college: YSU, agency: 6th Man Basketball Agency). Thompson started the season at HKK Mostar. In 24 Division I games in Bosnia he had very impressive stats: 20.5ppg, 3.4rpg, 4.5apg and 1.9spg. He was also named League Player of the Week.
Thompson graduated from Youngstown State University in 2024 and it is his first season as a professional player. He played for other colleges like: Tennessee Tech University, Mineral Area College, Pensacola State College, Colorado State University Pueblo, Sheridan College.
