Iwate Big Bulls (B3 League) signed 29-year-old Serbian 209cm power forward Marko Tejic for the upcoming season. He played for Spartak in the Serbian KLS league for the last two years. He played in three leagues last year. In 5 KLS games, he averaged just 1.8ppg and 1.4rpg. His team reached the Serbian League final. Tejic also played 10 games in the ABA League, averaging 3.7ppg and 1.3rpg. He recorded 1 game in the Basketball Champions League with 6 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist.
He is a very experienced player. Tejic has played also in Bosnia (Spars), Greece (Trikala), Italy, Lithuania (Rytas), Montenegro (Derby and Sutjeska), Poland (AZS) and Serbia (Crvena zvezda, BC Mega MIS Beograd, Zlatibor, KK FMP SoccerBet Beograd and Crvena zvezda).
Among many awards, he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Serbian League Honorable Mention in 2024.
