This significant recognition, announced on Thursday (Oct. 9) by Billboard and Telemundo, acknowledges his extraordinary success and influence on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums and Hot Latin Songs charts over the first 25 years of the century. The award ceremony is scheduled to take place live on October 23rd at 8 p.m. ET from the James L. Knight Center in Miami and will be broadcast on Telemundo.

The multi-platinum Puerto Rican artist has consistently shattered records within Latin music on the Billboard charts and beyond. His last four albums — including "Debí Tirar Más Fotos" (2025), "Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana" (2023), "Un Verano Sin Ti" (2022), and "El Último Tour del Mundo" (2020) — have all achieved unprecedented No. 1 positions on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart.
