In Clifton Park, Saratoga County, a 34-year-old man was arrested early Monday morning following an alleged assault. According to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect is accused of striking another individual over the head with a guitar. The incident, which occurred around 1 AM, led to the suspect being charged with felony second-degree assault. The victim was reportedly taken to the hospital for treatment of a head laceration. Authorities have not yet released details regarding the circumstances that led to the altercation. The suspect has been released on an appearance ticket and is awaiting further proceedings in town court.

Meanwhile, the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision's (DOCCS) Office of Special Investigations is actively seeking 13 individuals designated as Most Wanted Fugitives as of March 1, 2025. These individuals are considered armed and dangerous, and the public is strongly advised against attempting to apprehend them. In a separate incident, New York State Police arrested a 47-year-old man from Brewster after he was discovered asleep in a tractor blocking the Interstate 287 eastbound Exit 3 ramp in Elmsford. Troopers from Tarrytown responded to the scene on February 15 around 6:29 PM, finding the man in a red 2024 Yanmar tractor with the engine running. Due to his high level of intoxication, field sobriety tests could not be performed. The suspect's blood alcohol content was reportedly 0.22%, significantly exceeding the state's legal limit. Further investigation revealed that the tractor was unregistered, and the suspect was unlicensed. He was arrested for aggravated DWI, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and various traffic violations. The suspect was issued traffic tickets and is scheduled to appear in the Elmsford Village court later this month.
