US-based Kenyan content creator Bernice Saroni has opened up about the good times she had in marriage before things fell apart.

The mother of four has in the past admitted that her husband paid her bride price and that they were legally married.

In an interview on his Reke Ciume Na Ene YouTube channel, she met her ex-husband when she was 19.

"I got my firstborn, then I went back to him again and got another one and then from there I got married. Married life was beautiful. You see these material things, it's not that I lacked them at our home, what I was looking for was a lover and husband, and that is something we cannot share. When he left, he never looked back, he never wanted to know what those kids ate, what they wore or even talk to them on the phone, he was even only calling to borrow loans," she said.

The mother of four has, in different instances, hit back at her ex, subtly hinting that he cheated on her.

Elsewhere, Saroni once had a conversation with her son where she asked him how he felt growing up without a father.

In the video, the young boy cried at some point, narrating that he feels bad when he sees other kids in school being picked up by their dads.

She used the moment to point out her baby daddy for not being present in his child's life, not knowing how it was hurting him.

The clip elicited mixed reactions from people who claimed that she was using the clip to hit back at his ex.

The dedicated mother revealed she plans to buy her eldest son a car once he turns 16, just to celebrate their milestones.

She shared how she had moved from a single room in the US to now living in her own home and schooling her kids.

Saroni encouraged single mums to keep pushing and only trust in God as their only hope, because they will never fail.
