Edday took a leap of faith in 2023 and relocated to the US amid her husband’s fling with Senator Karen Nyamu.

The public relationship, viewed by many as being disrespectful to the mother of three, also affected her daughter, Shirleen Muchoki.

Edday previously admitted that she would be dead, and her daughter in rehab, if Bernice Saroni had not helped her with the move. She noted that she could not repay Bernice's kindness to her and her children, while wishing God's blessings upon her.

The mother and her brood are flourishing abroad, and Shirleen is currently in the Ninth Grade.

On Friday, June 13, the doting mother shared a photo posing with Shirleen after she was recognised for her stellar performance in school.

Mother and daughter smiled at the camera, with Edday's hand draped over the young lady's shoulder.

The mother donned a classy dress that seemed to be on fire, with a sash and matching heels.

Shirleen, on the other hand, wore a white dress and sneakers. According to the certificate, Shirleen excelled in her French classes.

Edday admitted that she was proud of Shirleen’s stellar academic performance.

“Proud mom moments. Good morning,” she wrote.

Edday’s sea of social media supporters flocked to the comments section to congratulate Shirleen. Others complimented the mum’s dress, saying it fit her like a glove.

Therapist Wamwene:

“Beautiful ladies. Keep her close to you as she continues to mature. God with you all the way, bold woman.”

Suzzy Wakahill Ndegwa:

"Congratulations to your girl."

Anne Kibugi:

"Congratulations, mum and daughter."

Kipyegon Kirui Clinton:

In other news, Shirleen's younger brother, Michael, hinted at being bullied in school.

Edday took the young man for an outing at a restaurant.

Michael enjoyed a burger and a shake and had a bottled drink on the table. He admitted that he was enjoying the time alone with his mother.

Edday wondered why Micheel would not sip the bottled drink, and he said that he was saving it for school. The mother got curious and sought to find out why.

Michael admitted that he wanted to show off to fellow students, adding that he did not want to get bullied again.
