The suspension stems from allegations that these lawmakers were involved in a plot to impeach the current Speaker, Aondona Dajoh. The suspended members have been identified as Alfred Berger, who represents Makurdi north constituency; Terna Shimawua from Kian constituency; Cyril Ekong, representing Obi constituency; and James Umoru, representing the Apa constituency.
