House of Talents Kortrijk Spurs in the Pro Basketball League has signed 25-year-old forward Jay Pal for the new season. Pal, who played college basketball at SDSU and is represented by JCK Sports Group, most recently played for Iverioni in the Georgian Superleague. In 17 games last season, he averaged an impressive 15.4ppg, 7.8rpg, 2.2apg, 1.6spg (in top 5), and 1.1bpg. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Georgian League Honorable Mention and Eurobasket.com All-Georgian Superleague Honorable Mention, making it a very successful year for him.
Pal played in the final of the MWC Tournament in 2024.
He graduated from San Diego State University in 2024 and it'll be his second season in pro basketball. Pal played for other colleges like Campbell University, Jacksonville State University, Clarendon College.
His best statistical season was at Campbell (22-23) when he started in each of the 32 contests in which he appeared and averaged 12.3 points and 6.9 rebounds in 31.1 minutes per game to go with 1.5 bpg.
