BBNaija Season 10 Shocker! Faith Disqualified After Explosive Clash with Sultana

Big Brother Naija Season 10 experienced a dramatic turn just days before its grand finale as Faith, one of the season's most influential housemates, was disqualified. The disqualification stemmed from a physical altercation with fellow housemate Sultana, an incident that violated the show’s strict house guidelines. Faith, who had an impressive run including two HoH titles, one interim HoH, and two Most Influential Player of the Week awards, was instructed to leave the house immediately.
The physical engagement between Faith, a medical doctor, and Sultana escalated from a disagreement during a group task. The two housemates were seen dragging a basket, a key element of the task. Emotions ran high, leading to Faith forcefully yanking the basket from Sultana, causing her to lose balance and fall to the floor. Sultana, a one-time HoH herself, was seen limping after the fall. Big Brother addressed the housemates hours later, citing Faith's engagement in physical violence with Sultana as a direct contradiction to the show's rules, thus confirming his disqualification. Faith made history on the show as the first housemate to accumulate three HoH titles across his tenures.
Following Faith’s abrupt exit, nine housemates are now through to the finals, eagerly awaiting the grand winner announcement on Sunday. The show, which commenced on July 26, is set to conclude on October 5. The remaining finalists include Sultana, Mensan, Kaybobo, Koyin, Kola, Jason Jae, Dede, Isabella, and Imisi. Throughout the season, 19 housemates had been evicted, with Sabrina exiting earlier due to medical concerns. Other evicted housemates were Kayikunmi, Otega, Ibifubara, Danboskid, Victory, Gigi Jasmine, Big Soso, Ivatar, Doris, Tracy, Denari, Thelma Lawson, Bright Morgan, Kuture, Joanna, Zita, Mide, and Rooboy. The remaining nine will now compete for the adjusted N140 million grand prize, a slight reduction from the initially advertised N150 million due to Kaybobo’s qualification to the final phase.
The incident and subsequent disqualification sparked considerable debate among viewers and former BBNaija housemates. Pere Egbi, a former BBNaija contestant, shared his perspective on X, arguing that while Faith crossed a line with the physical act, Sultana had initially triggered the disruption. Pere elaborated that the clash was not merely over a basket but a complex interplay of
