Bad Bunny Dominates Spotify Wrapped 2025, Crowned Top Artist Globally

Spotify's 2025 Wrapped campaign reveals a dominant performance by Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny, who has secured the title of Global Top Artist for the fourth time in his career. With an astounding 19.8 billion streams worldwide, Bunny leads multiple categories, reaffirming his status as the world's top streaming artist. This marks his fourth time holding Spotify's global streaming title, having previously topped the charts in 2020, 2021, and 2022.

Bad Bunny's achievement places him ahead of pop sensation Taylor Swift, who claimed the second spot globally, and The Weeknd, who ranked third on the Global Top Artist tally. While Bunny reigns globally, Taylor Swift notably secured the No. 1 spot for Spotify artist in the United States. Other prominent artists in the global top 10 include Drake, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Bruno Mars, Ariana Grande, Arijit Singh, and Fuerza Regida.

The artist's album, "DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS," which debuted in early 2025 and frequently led the Billboard 200, also secured the No. 1 position on Spotify's Global Top Album rankings. This album represents his fourth No. 1 on the all-genres U.S. albums chart. His 2022 album, "Un Verano Sin Ti," also made a strong showing at No. 10 on the 2025 global album list. On the Global Top Songs chart, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars' collaboration "Die With A Smile" emerged as the leading track for 2025, accumulating over 1.7 billion streams globally. This ballad climbed to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in January and logged five weeks at the summit. Billie Eilish's "Birds Of A Feather" took the second spot, while Bruno Mars secured another top-three finish with "APT.," his collaboration with Blackpink’s Rosé. Bad Bunny's album title track "DtMF" ranked fifth globally. Other notable global songs include Alex Warren's "Ordinary" and Kendrick Lamar's "luther (with sza)".

In the United States, Taylor Swift was the leading artist, followed by Drake and Morgan Wallen. The U.S. Top Songs list saw "luther (with sza)" by Kendrick Lamar & SZA at No. 1, with "Die With A Smile" by Lady Gaga & Bruno Mars at No. 2. Morgan Wallen's "I’m The Problem" was the top U.S. album, followed by SZA’s "SOS Deluxe: LANA" and Bad Bunny’s "DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS".

For the sixth consecutive year, "The Joe Rogan Experience" was named Spotify’s Global Top Podcast for 2025, also leading the U.S. podcast charts. Latin music categories demonstrated significant growth and presence. Música Mexicana continued its reign as the No. 1 Latin genre for the second consecutive year, closely followed by reggaetón.
