Atlanta Hawks Reportedly Considering Re-Hiring Danny Ferry as Advisor

The Atlanta Hawks are reportedly considering a reunion with Danny Ferry, who could return to the organization as a senior advisor to the recently promoted general manager, Onsi Saleh. This information comes from Marc Stein of The Stein Line, who notes that Ferry's potential role is being evaluated as the Hawks navigate changes in their front office structure.
The consideration for Ferry also comes at a time when the Hawks are actively searching for a new president of basketball operations. Should they hire someone for that top role, Ferry might still be brought on as an experienced advisor to support Saleh. Earlier in the month, the Hawks were reportedly exploring other candidates for the president position, including Masai Ujiri and Alex Saratsis, and had also reached out to player agents to fill the vacancy.
