Ernest Henry Norgbey is the Member of Parliament for Ashaiman

The Member of Parliament for the Ashaiman Constituency, Ernest Henry Norgbey, has achieved a significant academic milestone, graduating from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business and Management, specialising in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

The graduation ceremony, held on June 28, 2025, marked a proud moment for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentarian.

Born on December 28, 1980, Norgbey has represented Ashaiman in the Greater Accra Region since 2017.

Before entering politics, he worked as a teacher at Happy Home Basic School from 2006 to 2009 and subsequently as a procurement officer at the National Disaster Management Organisation.

During the KNUST ceremony, Norgbey was observed interacting with various dignitaries, including a respectful bow and handshake with Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Chancellor of KNUST, as well as special guests King Mswati III of Eswatini and his wife, Inkhosikati LaMagongo.

Footage from the event, presided over by KNUST Vice-Chancellor Prof. Rita Akosua Dickson, captured the moment Norgbey received his certificate.

The Ashaiman MP's notable academic achievement has garnered widespread congratulations from his constituents and Ghanaians across social media platforms.
