Arjun Kapoor on returning to rom-coms with Mere Husband Ki Biwi: "Excited to bring back the warmth and laughter"
After playing the quintessential ‘villain’ in Singham Again, Arjun Kapoor is stepping back into his lover boy avatar, and fans of his rom-com charm couldn’t be happier. The actor, who explored this genre with his roles in films like 2 States, Half Girlfriend, and Ki & Ka, is making a grand return to the genre with this forthcoming entertainer - Mere Husband Ki Biwi.

This entertainer sees him in a full-fledged rom-com mode, a space he has always been comfortable in. The transition from an intense antagonist in Singham Again to a lover boy wouldn’t have been easy but the actor is more than happy to take a plunge into this one. "After playing Danger Lanka in Singham Again, it’s great to step back into the rom-com space. It’s like revisiting an old friend,” Arjun shared. “I’ve always loved stories that bring warmth, laughter, and love to the screen, and this film does exactly that. My goal is to make content that the audience likes and enjoys, so I'm happy to be doing a project in this space,” he continued.
Arjun Kapoor went on to add, "I’ve been fortunate that the audience has loved and accepted me in the romance genre in films like 2 States, Ki & Ka, and other films. It’s good to be doing something in the light-hearted zone. I hope the audiences shower me with the same kind of love and acceptance for Mere Husband Ki Biwi," Arjun shared.
Apart from Arjun Kapoor, the film stars Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh as leading ladies along with Dino Morea, Harsh Gujral, Shakti Kapoor, and others. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film is presented by Vashu Bhagnani & Puja Films, and produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Deshmukh. Mere Husband Ki Biwi lands in the theatres on February 21, 2025, and promises to take the audiences on a ride of ‘love circle’.
