In an advert published in the government newspaper MyGov on Tuesday, July 8, the autonomous body, established in 1991 to manage and provide a coordinated system of airports and airstrips in Kenya, invited interested and qualified candidates to submit their applications by Monday, July 21.

KAA noted that it is an equal opportunity employer, and as such, it encouraged applicants with disabilities and those from marginalised groups to apply.

"Kenya Airports Authority was established in 1991 under the KAA Act Cap 395 to provide facilitative infrastructure for aviation services in Kenya. Guided by its mandate, the authority is seeking to recruit competent and self-driven persons to fill the under-listed positions.
The detailed job descriptions, requirements for appointment and instructions on how to apply can be accessed on KAA’s website under the careers section. To be considered, your application must be received not later than Monday, July 21, 2025, at 5.00pm East African Time (EAT)," it stated.

KAA warned job seekers against canvassing, stressing that this would lead to automatic disqualification.

It also indicated that applicants who fail to attach the requisite academic and professional documents would be disqualified.

Simon Ingari, a career development associate with OYK CV Writing & Interview Coaching Services, told that candidates should customise their CV and cover letter for each position.

He asked graduates to highlight their strengths with concrete examples, such as volunteer work or academic projects.

"Avoid submitting generic applications. For every job, customise your cover letter and resume. Use genuine examples to highlight your talents, even if they come from school assignments or voluntary work. Actively network as referrals offer many opportunities," he explained.

In other news, the Kenya Railways Corporation (KRC) posted job openings for senior positions, with a deadline of July 14, 2025.

The New Kenya Cooperative Creameries (New KCC) sought to fill the position of managing director.

The Retirement Benefits Authority (RBA) seeks to fill multiple senior roles.

At the same time, KCB announced several opportunities for job seekers in July.
