APC Gears Up for 2027: Kaduna Mobilizes for Tinubu & Sani!

Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Southern Kaduna zone have collectively resolved to mobilize unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani in anticipation of the 2027 general elections. This significant resolution emerged from a strategic meeting of the APC Zone 3 stakeholders, which was presided over by the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe. The gathering took place at the Epitome Hotel in Barnawa, Kaduna, emphasizing the party's concerted efforts towards future electoral success.

During the event, Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe addressed the stakeholders, stressing the critical importance of unity, discipline, and commitment among party members. She urged them to set aside personal considerations and prioritize the collective interest to fortify the party's standing as the 2027 elections approach. The Deputy Governor also called upon APC candidates to formulate precise strategies and concrete action plans tailored for their respective constituencies. Furthermore, she tasked the stakeholders with the responsibility of effectively communicating the achievements of both President Tinubu's and Governor Uba Sani's administrations to the electorate, advocating for factual information dissemination and impactful engagement.

Balarabe highlighted that the forthcoming 2027 elections represent a pivotal opportunity for Southern Kaduna to showcase its political strength, organizational prowess, and steadfast commitment to the APC. She underscored this sentiment with a poignant rhetorical question: “History will ask us, when the moment came, whether we were wise enough to choose the collective interest over personal interests.” This statement served as a powerful reminder of the stakes involved and the necessity for strategic alignment.

The meeting also served as a platform for a thorough review of the party’s preparedness for the 2027 elections. Candidates provided updates on their ongoing engagements with constituents and presented detailed outlines of their mobilization strategies for their areas. A crucial aspect of the meeting was the consideration of the report from the Reconciliation Committee, which had undertaken a tour of the zone to engage aggrieved party members. The committee's mission was to foster forgiveness and rebuild trust within the party ranks. Their report indicated positive progress in these endeavors, affirming that the exercise had significantly contributed to strengthening unity, cohesion, and a shared collective purpose among members across Southern Kaduna.

Further resolutions from the stakeholders included a commitment to educate the electorate on the various projects, programs, and other dividends of democracy being delivered by the APC-led federal and state administrations, with a particular focus on initiatives within Southern Kaduna. There was a unanimous agreement that the party’s campaign should remain strictly issue-based, grounded in factual information, and consciously avoid divisive narratives that could potentially undermine peace and unity within Kaduna State. To bolster the campaign machinery, the meeting officially approved the establishment of a fundraising committee tasked with mobilizing resources for the 2027 campaign, with Comrade Jerry Adams designated as its chairman.

The strategic meeting saw a broad attendance of key party figures, including the APC state chairman, Hon. Atiku Isaac Sankey; the Deputy Governorship Nominee, Comrade Jerry Adams; federal and state assembly candidates representing the eight local government areas of Southern Kaduna; various federal and state government appointees; party officials; local government chairmen; and other influential stakeholders, all contributing to the collaborative spirit and strategic planning for the upcoming elections.
