AllSaints signs with Atlassian William Racing for limited-edition collection - FashionNetwork United Kingdom

The relationship between motor racing and fashion has always been strong and now AllSaints has become the latest brand to fall under the spell of speed.

The UK fashion retailer has announce a collaboration with Formula 1 team Atlassian Williams Racing to launch a limited-edition collection “that embodies both style and performance”. 

The edit will consist of nine pieces that draw their inspiration from “the fierce energy of race day” which means taking inspiration from Williams F1 archive race suits and combines it with AllSaints’ “distinctive lens of muted tones, rebellious detailing and leather expertise”.

This means “utility-driven outerwear, statement graphics and elevated off duty essentials” with a focus on functionality, craftsmanship and AllSaints’ aesthetics, we’re told.

“This licensing deal marks a new chapter for AllSaints, solidifying its presence as a global lifestyle brand and pushing the boundaries of collaboration within the fashion industry” the brand said on release.

AllSaints COO Catherine Jobling added: “We have brought together two worlds that thrive on edge, performance and identity. The AllSaints aesthetic has always been about rebellion and individuality-pairing that with the determination and dynamism of Atlassian Williams Racing was a natural evolution. The collaboration captures the intensity of Formula 1 and translates it into something wearable. Not just merc-but real design. We wanted the pieces to feel like the final lap- charged, focused and impossible to ignore.”

The AllSaints x Atlassian Williams Racing edit is available online and in-store as well as at exclusive Williams e-commerce and pop-up shops from 1 July.
