Two-time Academy Award winner Renée Zellweger is reprising one of her most iconic roles in Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, the fourth installment in the beloved romantic comedy franchise.

The new film finds Bridget now as a widowed single mother, as it's revealed that Mark Darcy was killed four years prior. With the guidance of her friends and her former lover Daniel, Bridget enters the world of online dating. Everything changes when Bridget falls for both the young heartthrob Roxster and her son's science teacher, Mr. Wallaker.

Michael Morris (To Leslie) directs the film, which also sees the return of Academy Award winner Colin Firth as Mark Darcy, Hugh Grant as Daniel Cleaver, Academy Award winner Emma Thompson as Doctor Rowlings, Academy Award winner Jim Broadbent as Colin Jones, Gemma Jones as Pamela Jones, Sarah Solemani as Miranda, Sally Phillips as Shazza, Shirley Henderson as Jude, and James Callis as Tom. Miles Teller (Top Gun: Maverick) and Anya Taylor-Joy (The Queen’s Gambit) form an unexpected romance in the supernatural action-thriller The Gorge.

American sniper Levi and Russian sniper Drasa are both assigned the same task, to guard both sides of a deep and impenetrable gorge. While their guard towers are on opposite sides of the gorge, they begin to connect with each other, slowly beginning to fall in love. Unbeknownst to either of them, the gorge they’re guarding seemingly leads to Hell.

Scott Derrickson (Doctor Strange) directs the film, which also stars Academy Award nominee Sigourney Weaver (Alien), Sope Dirisu (Slow Horses), and William Houston (Wednesday).

Maika Monroe (It Follows) and Academy Award winner Nicolas Cage (Pig) lead one of the biggest horror hits of 2024 in Longlegs.

The tense horror thriller follows young FBI agent Lee Harker, who comes from a traumatic past. After getting a premonition that leads to the death of a fellow agent, Lee is tasked with helping track down a Satan-worshipping serial killer who is behind the murders of multiple families in Oregon, despite never being present at the scene of the crime. The further along Lee gets into the investigation, the more disturbing it gets, leading to a shocking finale.

Osgood Perkins (The Monkey) wrote and directed Longlegs, which also stars Blair Underwood (L.A. Law), Alicia Witt (Twin Peaks), Michelle Choi-Lee (Joy Ride), Dakota Daubly (Shōgun), and Kiernan Shipka (Twisters).

Emmy winners Ayo Edebiri (The Bear) and Mary-Louise Parker (Weeds) star in the time-traveling drama Omni Loop.

The movie focuses on quantum physicist Zoya Lowe, who not only gets trapped in a time loop but also learns that a black hole is growing in her chest, causing her to only have one week left to live. Zoya has been stuck in this weeklong time loop for so long that she's forgotten how long it's even been. Zoya finds hope when she meets a brilliant student named Paula, who may hold the key to saving her life.

Bernardo Britto (Jacqueline Argentine) directed the film, which also stars Carlos Jacott (Grosse Pointe Blank), Harris Yulin (Ozark), Hannah Pearl Utt (Before You Know It), and Chris Witaske (The Bear).

Grammy-winning musician Questlove follows up his Academy Award-winning documentary Summer of Soul (... Or, When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised) with the biographical documentary Sly Lives! (aka The Burden of Black Genius).

Businessman Eric flies out to Italy to stop his extroverted and ambitious daughter Olivia from using all of her life savings to restore a crumbling villa she purchased for only €1. His short trip takes an unexpected turn (and an extension) upon meeting Francesca.

Mark Waters (Mean Girls) directs the film, which stars Scott Foley (Scandal), Maia Reficco (Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin), Violante Placido (The American), and Giuseppe Futia.

2024 was an incredible year for animated films from The Wild Robot to Inside Out 2 and Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl. However, arguably the most acclaimed movie of the bunch is a little movie from Latvia about a little black cat trying to find his way home.

Flow is a dialogue-free animated adventure following a black cat, whose home is ruined by a flood. In order to find safety and a new home, the feline hops aboard a boat populated by other animals including a capybara, a lemur, and a yellow lab.

The movie is directed by Gints Zilbalodis and has earned two Academy Award nominations, Best Animated Feature and Best International Feature (Latvia).

You’ve seen plenty of musical biopics before. But you’d be lying to yourself if you said you saw a musical biopic like Better Man.

The unconventional and fantastical musical odyssey follows the rise of British pop sensation Robbie Williams, from his days in the boy band Take That to overcoming drug addiction and kickstarting his own successful solo career. Instead of just having any old actor play the lead role, the film takes the bold approach of having Williams portrayed as a CGI monkey.

Of course, the plane ride to New York City doesn’t go to plan when their pilot Daryl Booth, reveals himself to be a hitman for the Morettis, and he’ll stop at nothing to take out Winston before he can snitch.

Bridgerton’s Phoebe Dynevor gets her action-star moment in the spy-thriller Inheritance, which was filmed entirely using an iPhone 13.

Dynevor stars as Maya, a young woman whose life at the moment feels aimless, especially after recently losing her mother. Her estranged father, Sam, re-enters the picture, and she soon learns that he was once a spy. Maya is inadvertently thrust into the center of an international conspiracy where she will have to race across the globe in order to outrun some dangerous forces who want her dead.
