Alex Fine Supports Wife Cassie, Addresses Diddy After 4-Day Testimony | In Touch Weekly
issued a powerful statement in support of his wife, , after her fourth day of testimony in ex-boyfriend ’ federal sex trafficking trial, praising her courage and resilience.
“The world has gotten to witness the strength and bravery of my wife, freeing herself of her past. There has been speculation online surrounding how it must feel for me to sit there and listen to my wife’s testimony,” Fine, 32, began in a statement shared via the singer’s lawyer, , outside of the courthouse on Friday, May 16.
“I have felt so many things sitting there. I have felt tremendous pride and overwhelming love for Cass,” the personal trainer and soon-to-be father of three shared. “I have felt profound anger that she has been subjected to sitting in front of a person who tried to break her.”
“So, to [Diddy] and all of those who helped him along the way, please know this: You did not. You did not break her spirit nor her smile that lights up every room,” Fine’s statement continued. “You did not break the soul of a mother who gives the best hugs and plays the silliest games with our little girls. You did not break the woman who has made me a better man.”
“I did not save Cassie, as some have said. To say that is an insult to the years of painful work my wife has done to save herself. Cassie saved Cassie. She alone broke free from abuse, coercion, violence and threats. She did the work of fighting the demons that only a demon himself could have done to her. All I have done is love her as she has loved me.”
The “Me & U” singer, 38, and Fine are currently expecting baby No. 3, and he shared that her family continues to bring immense joy into her life, just as she brings joy into theirs.
“Her life is now surrounded by love, laughter and our family,” his profound statement concluded. “This horrific chapter is forever put behind us, and we will not be making additional statements. We appreciate all of the love and support we have received, and we ask that you respect our privacy as we welcome our son into a world that is now safer because of his mom.”

Ventura testified in Combs’ federal criminal trial that he allegedly raped her, physically abused her and forced her into drug-fueled sex acts during the course of their relationship which spanned from 2007 to 2018.
Combs has denied wrongdoing and pleaded not guilty to five criminal counts including one count of racketeering conspiracy; two counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion; and two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution after his September 2024 arrest.
After rejecting a plea deal, Combs could face up to life in prison if he is convicted on all counts.
During her first two days on the stand, prosecutors inquired of Ventura how Combs allegedly pressured her into taking part in days-long sex sessions with male escorts that he would film.
Ventura has since been cross-examined by Combs’ attorneys for the past two days, who attempted to show jurors that she was a willing participant.
Ventura, however, said he threatened to blackmail her and use tapes of their sexual encounters, known as “freak offs,” to control her. Ventura said she did not want to engage in the acts and had to be on drugs to dissociate, and only went through with it to please Combs.
“I hope that my testimony has given strength and a voice to other survivors, and can help others who have suffered to speak up and also heal from abuse and fear,” she said in a statement shared via her lawyer, noting she was looking forward to putting this chapter behind her.
“For me, the more I heal, the more I can remember,” she said. “And the more I can remember, the more I will never forget.”
