'Alaskan Bush People' Star Noah Brown Calls Cops to Request Welfare Check on Mom Ami; Claims She's "Taking Meth" & "Deteriorating" While Living With His Sister Rain
made some shocking allegations regarding his mom, , just days before his younger sister was arrested this month and charged with burglary, malicious mischief and criminal trespassing.
According to The Sun, days before Rain ended up behind bars with her husband, Noah contacted police to conduct a welfare check on both Ami and Rain, whom Noah claimed were “couch surfing” with Rain’s “aggressive” husband.
In court paperwork obtained by The Sun, Noah told police that he believes his mom is “off her meds,” drinking a lot and taking meth.
“[Noah] has tried contacting his mother after receiving a ‘disjointed message’ last night and heard she has been drinking a lot and she is now taking meth that was given by [Rain] and Josiah,” the court documents read.
Noah went on to claim that Ami, who was hospitalized in February and placed in a medically induced coma, is “deteriorating” health-wise. Noah alleged that his mother wasn’t taking her medication because Rain “is not allowing her” to do so. He also noted that Rain’s husband was in possession of guns, which he is allegedly not permitted to own.
Police reportedly contacted Noah April 8 to notify him that there had been an attempt to contact Ami and that Ami “might be” with Rain and Josiah. In response, Noah claimed that Rain “struggles to keep up with taking her medication and thinks that anybody who tries to force her to take it is the devil.”
“Noah continued to explain that Josiah is known to always be armed,” court documents stated. “Additionally, Noah explained that [Rain] had also taken a pistol from him. Noah didn’t want to list it as stolen, but wanted me to be cautious when attempting to contact her.
“Before concluding with Noah, Noah advised me that his mother and [Rain] refer to Josiah Lorton as the next ‘Messiah,’ which extremely worried Noah,” the documents continued.
According to The Sun, an officer went on to speak to a man who claimed to have met Josiah and Rain on a job site and had offered to let the couple stay at his home, as the two appeared to be living out of a car. The man alleged that Josiah and Rain had with them a large “diaper bag full of pills.”
An officer did attempt to do the welfare check that Noah requested, and on April 8, the officer contacted Noah.
“I advised Noah that I attempted to contact his mother (Amora Brown.) I also explained to Noah that I had discovered that Amora might be with his sister Merry, aka ‘Rain’ Brown, and Josiah Lorton.”
As previously reported, Noah and his wife – from whom he has since separated– filed a restraining order request against Rain in August 2024 that was ultimately denied by a Washington court in December. In the request, Noah asked the court for “protection from someone who has committed unlawful harassment.”
In addition to “stalking,” Noah and Rhain claimed that there was a “threat of violence including malicious and intentional threat or presence of firearm/weapon causing substantial emotional distress.”
The two had requested that Rain make “no attempts” to contact them directly, indirectly or through third parties, and that she not be allowed to come within 1,000 feet of them, their residence, their children’s school and more. Rhain and Noah also requested that their two sons be protected from their aunt, and that Rain be required to give up all firearms and be prohibited from obtaining more.
Interestingly, Noah also accused his sister at the time of “using cocaine and meth and consuming alcohol,” claiming that Rain even offered cocaine to their mom in December 2023 in response to Ami claiming that she was experiencing a migraine.
While the Brown family has yet to publicly speak out about Noah’s latest allegations, Rain took to social media earlier this month proclaiming her innocence in the aftermath of her arrest.
“It hurts my heart that my rainbows would choose to believe the lies that my old manager who stole $43,000 from me and abused me instead of maybe thinking, ‘Oh no who is saying this about Rain?’ Not ‘Wow what a waste,’” she wrote. “It deeply hurts my heart.
“With all this said I hope y’all will stick around to hear my side of the story,” she continued. “God bless y’all.”
