The Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation successfully concluded a series of customized capacity-building programs for staff of the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF). These initiatives aim to enhance performance across key departments and support the implementation of the Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan 2021–2025 (FCSSIP25).

The training specifically targeted the Infrastructure Management and Information & Public Relations Departments, both essential for advancing government priorities. The Foundation provided practical, skills-focused training designed to address specific competency gaps and enhance the technical expertise of public servants.

Participants from the Infrastructure Management Department gained valuable tools for improving project planning, budget tracking, monitoring and evaluation, digital workspace management, and effective Public-Private Partnership (PPP) implementation.

Meanwhile, officers in the Information and Public Relations Department engaged in comprehensive training on media engagement, content creation, strategic communication planning, and digital outreach. These skills are vital for effectively managing the public image of the Civil Service and engaging citizens in real time.

Highlighting the significance of these initiatives, the Executive Vice Chairman of the Foundation, Ofovwe Aig-Imoukhuede, emphasized the Foundation’s commitment to fostering a world-class Civil Service dedicated to delivering impactful results for citizens.

She remarked, “These trainings aim to empower civil servants with the skills and mindset necessary to drive reforms and enhance public service delivery.”

The Director of the Infrastructure Management Department at OHCSF, Arch. Joy Baderin, expressed gratitude for the Foundation’s partnership and technical support, noting that these contributions have significantly transformed staff performance and departmental efficiency, ultimately elevating service delivery to Nigerians.
