Businessman Seidu Agongo has lauded former President John Mahama's compassionate nature, revealing a past instance where Mahama intervened to assist his political opponent, Kennedy Agyapong. In a recent interview on Metro TV, Agongo shared that Mahama, during his first term, facilitated the release of Kennedy Agyapong's locked-up funds from the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).

Agongo, describing Mahama as someone he admires, highlighted his ability to connect with people, even those perceived as enemies. He emphasized Mahama's commitment to supporting individuals in reaching their full potential. Agongo further recounted a specific incident where Agyapong's funds were আটকে due to business dealings with ECG. Despite Agyapong's political opposition, Mahama intervened, ensuring the release of the funds. Agongo emphasized that Mahama's decision was rooted in recognizing Agyapong as a businessman responsible for the livelihoods of others.
