African Democratic Congress Surges: 45,000 New Members in Taraba!

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Taraba State, Nigeria, is experiencing a significant surge in its membership, with at least 45,000 eligible voters recently registered as new members. This impressive growth spans four local government areas within the state, signaling a major boost for the political party.
Hon. Iliya Ezekiel, a prominent member of the ADC Membership Mobilisation, Revalidation and Registration (MMRR) committee, confirmed this development in an interview from Jalingo. He highlighted that this achievement underscores a growing public trust in the party's core values, including its commitment to transparency, inclusiveness, and fostering grassroots development.
The influx of new members originates from Donga, Takum, and Ussa Local Government Areas. Notably, just days prior to this recent registration, over 10,000 individuals had defected to the ADC in Gassol Local Government Area, further demonstrating the party's expanding reach and appeal. Ezekiel emphasized, "Today, we received and registered additional members from Donga, Takum and Ussa LGAs who have chosen to join the African Democratic Congress movement."
Ezekiel further elaborated on the party's appeal, stating that the ADC leadership in Taraba State operates with unity and impartiality. He stressed that the ongoing MMRR initiative is strategically designed to attract Nigerians who are disillusioned with their current political affiliations. "As leaders of this great party, we are open to all. Anyone who wishes to join us is welcome. The ADC is ready to accommodate those committed to bringing positive change to Taraba State and Nigeria as a whole," he affirmed.
The ADC in Taraba State is poised for continued expansion, with Ezekiel assuring that the party will sustain its registration and mobilization efforts. He attributed the increasing acceptance of the party to its effective grassroots engagement strategies and its inclusive leadership model. Furthermore, he reassured all newly registered members of the ADC's unwavering commitment to upholding unity, fairness, and internal democracy within its ranks.
