ADC Unveils Bold Strategy to Conquer Kogi State

Yesterday, stakeholders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) from Kogi State convened a pivotal meeting in Abuja, held under the esteemed leadership of Senator Tunde Ogbeha, who serves as the party’s North Central leader. The primary focus of this crucial gathering was to emphasize the paramount importance of unity among all party members and leaders. Participants were strongly encouraged to engage in collective efforts aimed at advancing the interests of the ADC throughout Kogi State.

During the meeting, Senator Ogbeha delivered a compelling address, urging party members to make unity a top priority and to diligently work towards achieving significant electoral success in future polls. He reiterated the ADC's unwavering commitment to fostering internal democracy within its structures and to tirelessly championing the welfare of the citizens of Kogi State. Senator Ogbeha underscored that such unity is not merely desirable but is, in fact, the fundamental key to successfully realizing these ambitious goals.

A significant outcome of the gathering was the reaffirmation of ADC’s steadfast resolve to significantly strengthen its presence and influence within Kogi State. This strategic objective includes concrete plans to vigorously mobilise support for an upcoming membership registration exercise, aiming to expand the party's grassroots reach. Leaders representing the three distinct senatorial districts of Kogi State also presented comprehensive reports detailing the party’s progress and initiatives within their respective areas. These included former deputy governor, Simon Achuba, for Kogi East; former PDP chairman, Elder Sam Ohutu, for Kogi Central; and Alhaji Musa Ahmadu for Kogi West. The discussions consistently highlighted Senator Ogbeha’s leadership as being instrumental and central to effectively driving the party's agenda across the entire North Central region.

The meeting saw a broad attendance of influential figures and dedicated members. Among those present were Senator Dino Melaye, Justina Abanida, Kingsley Temitope Ogga (the state chairman), Musa Wada, Shola Ojo, Hajiya Maryam Salihu, Kola Ologbodinya, Olayinka Braimoh, Alhaji Bologi Yabagi, and Hon. Abdul Kareem Isah. Other notable attendees included Ambassador Joe Elebiyi, Chief Dayo Akande, Hon. Moses Okino, Hajiya Mariam Yakubu, Capt. Joe Agada (rtd), Rt. Hon Angulu, Elder Obolo Okpanachi, David Itopa, Mohammed Abdulraman Balga, Austin Okhai, Hajiya Habitat Mohammed Deen, Tom Ohikere, Tom Zakari, Barr.
