The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has launched a strong critique against both the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, citing the escalating insecurity in Zamfara and Katsina states. The party underscored a series of recent mass killings and kidnappings, asserting that these incidents demonstrate a total collapse of Nigeria's national security architecture.
The ADC specifically condemned PDP governors for convening a political meeting in Zamfara on Saturday, August 23, merely days after the state experienced significant violence, including dozens of villagers killed and many abducted.
