The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has launched a strong critique against both the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, citing the escalating insecurity in Zamfara and Katsina states. The party underscored a series of recent mass killings and kidnappings, asserting that these incidents demonstrate a total collapse of Nigeria's national security architecture.
The ADC specifically condemned PDP governors for convening a political meeting in Zamfara on Saturday, August 23, merely days after the state experienced significant violence, including dozens of villagers killed and many abducted. Reports cited that 144 people were kidnapped, 24 killed, and 16 injured across various local government areas in Zamfara.
