Adamawa: Former Fintiri's deputy, ex- Speaker, other loyalists decamp to APC - Blueprint Newspapers Limited

A political tsunami appears to have hit the camp of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and People’s Democratic party (PDP) in Adamawa state, as some of his loyalists including  his immidiate past deputy, Chief Crowder Seth, Ex speaker Gibson Nathaniel, his former special adviser who was Algon chairman Alh.Sahabo Aliyu Gurin  have ditched him for the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Others who decamped are former chief judge justice Ambrose Mamadi,former Assembly members,local Government chairmen among others

This is just as Adamawa APC  stakeholders which includes Party excos, Assembly members, political appointees, elders and other stakeholders in the state have adopted president Bola Ahmed Tinubu  as their sole presidential candidate in 2027 election.

They also  passed a vote of confidence on the party National Working Committee led by Abdullahi Umar Ganduje .

They decampees were received into the party at an elaborate  event organised by the party in Yola, to marked this year’s democracy day and second anniversary of p Tinubu.

Speaking on behalf of the decamped  Mr.Ayuba Terry former chairman michika local Government, attributed their decision to defect to APC to president Tinubu’s excellence performance in the last two years.

They vowed to contributes their quota to the  development of the country  and work assiduously with other party stakeholders to delivered APC and president Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027 election assuring the party of their loyalty and  commitments to ensure that  APC take over Adamawa in 2027 which they lost in 2019.

Earlier speaking ,Adamawa state APC chairman, Barrister shuaibu idris, said Tinubu has recorded alot of achievements  in the last two years worthy of celebration hence their decision  to come together  to celebrate his unprecedented achievements.
