Adam Lowry Scores 2OT Goal to Complete Game 7 Comeback

Adam Lowry, captain of the Winnipeg Jets, completed a Game 7 comeback against the St. Louis Blues with a double-overtime winner. The Jets forced overtime after Cole Perfetti scored late in the third period, giving his team a chance to advance despite trailing 3-1.

In double overtime, the Jets cycled the puck in their offensive zone. Neal Pionk fired a shot from the point, which Lowry deflected past Blues goalie Jordan Binnington and into the net. This secured the series win for Winnipeg.

The Blues had taken a 2-0 lead by the end of the first period. Winnipeg narrowed the score in the second, but Radek Faska restored St. Louis's two-goal lead before the end of the period. Winnipeg then mounted a comeback in the third period, with Vladislav Namestnikov scoring to make it 3-2 with less than two minutes remaining, followed by Perfetti's tying goal.

This victory marks the Jets' first advancement in the Stanley Cup Playoffs since 2021. The Jets will now face the Dallas Stars in the second round, after Dallas eliminated the Colorado Avalanche in their own Game 7.
