Accra to host 2025 AMC, TICON Africa Conferences in August
The prestigious AMC Conference and the TICON Africa Conference are jointly held annually to bring together leaders, professionals and innovators from Africa's ICT and marketing industries.
This year's event, themed "Uniting Technology and Marketing for Africa's Sustainable Growth," will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions and workshops that explore cutting-edge trends in ICT and marketing, highlighting their roles in Africa's economic and digital transformation.
The fourth edition of the conference will be hosted by the Institute of ICT Professionals Ghana (IIPGH) and the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG), with support from the Labadi Beach Hotel.

He noted that the theme of the upcoming conference was timely and appropriate, adding that it is time for the African continent to actively explore marketing and technology initiatives to align with global trends.
"It is of the opinion of the leadership of Tycoon Africa that it is crucial for Africa, at this particular point, to capture the continent's need to harness innovation, digital standards, and assert its influence in shaping the global tech landscape and rapid technology," he said.
"So we look forward to something which will be amazing and this is how we feel about this conference. It's not just a conference, it's a continental experience that this institution will have here in Ghana, drive innovation, drive unity amongst the various countries and their ICT sectors and Africa's checkpoints," Dr Zaaiman added.
Vice President of CIMG, Ama Amoah stated that the hosts are committed to exploring the benefits of integrating marketing and technology to drive sustained business growth across the continent.
"We've carefully curated this year's theme and topics based on input from marketing practitioners across the continent. Our goal is to explore the intersection of marketing & technology, and also driving sustained growth for businesses & organizations," she said.
She also encouraged businesses and organisations to partner and actively participate in the conference to gain valuable exposure for their brands across the African continent.
"To our potential sponsors and partners, this is your moment to place your brand at the center of Africa's biggest conversation on marketing and technology."
"To all Ghanaian companies out there and represented here today, let's show up and own the space. To my fellow marketers, don't just attend – get involved, speak, connect, leverage and share your story," she stressed.
Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey, Deputy CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority, expressed his enthusiasm for the fusion of marketing and technology, describing them as key drivers for the growth of the tourism sector.
"The synergy between marketing and technology is no longer a convenience but a necessity. In this era of rapid digital transformation, where borders are redefined by algorithms, and consumer behavior is also shaped by data, this collaboration is not just timely but essential," he said.
He stated that the conference would provide an opportunity for his organisation to share President John Dramani Mahama’s vision for Ghana, as the country continues to position itself as the leading tourism destination in West Africa.
"The Ghana Tourism Authority finds this conference a very valuable opportunity for us to present the vision of His Excellency, President John Rahmani Mahama, as Ghana continues to be the number one tourism destination in West Africa, and in Africa, number six," he said.
"We are proud and honoured that Ghana has been chosen as a host destination. Let me assure you, Ghana is ready to welcome you with our open arms and our open hearts," he added.
