Accra hosts Global Prayer Works Summit for the first time - MyJoyOnline
For the first time, the Global Prayer Works Summit is coming to Accra, Ghana, the birthplace of this international prayer revival.
Hosted by Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, the three-day event will take place from Thursday, July 17, to Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Action Chapel’s Prayer Cathedral, Spintex Road.
For over two decades, the summit has travelled across the United States and Europe, bringing together pastors, church leaders, intercessors and believers from all walks of life to stand in the gap for their families, communities, and nations. It has served as a platform for healing, deliverance, and fresh encounters with God through the word, worship, and extended prayer sessions.
The theme for the summit, “Revive Us Again,” speaks to a longing for revival in our homes, churches, and nations, particularly on the African continent.
The speaker lineup features some of the most respected voices in the Christian fraternity; leaders whose ministries have impacted lives across Africa and beyond.
Rev. Eastwood Anaba, Senior Pastor of Fountain Gate Chapel in Bolgatanga, is known for his clear and uncompromising message on the Holy Spirit, righteousness, discipline and divine order.
Rev. Dr. Robert Ampiah-Kwofi is the General Overseer of Global Revival Ministries and President of Ampiah-Kwofi World Outreach. A seasoned evangelist and teacher, his healing ministry has touched thousands, and he is committed to raising intercessors and transgenerational leaders.
Bishop Dr. Bernard Ogyiri Asare, Founder and General Overseer of Zion Praise Chapel International in Takoradi, is an author, entrepreneur, and a man with a heart for revival.
Music will be led by renowned gospel musician and worship leader Joe Mettle, with powerful support from Simiane (a contemporary worship leader from France), Sandra Boakye-Duah (known for her hit “Light Has Come”), and the vibrant Voices of Triumph Choir from Action Chapel..
Each day of the summit is structured to help participants build a consistent prayer life and grow in their knowledge of God.
Morning sessions begin at 9:00 a.m., afternoon encounters at 2:00 p.m. and evening sessions at 6 p.m. The final day, Saturday, July 19, starts with “Morning Glory” at 7:00 a.m., followed by focused breakout sessions at 9:00 a.m. for young adults, ministry leaders, business and community leaders.
The Global Prayer Works Summit Accra is open to anyone yearning for a deeper intimacy with God and ready to experience revival in their life, family, or ministry.
For those unable to travel to Accra, the summit will be streamed live across all official social media accounts of Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams and will also be broadcast on Dominion TV platforms.
Admission is free, but participants are encouraged to register in advance by visiting www.gpwsummit.org.
Free bus transportation will also be available each day to assist participants travelling to and from the venue.
