The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) has urged the private sector players to see new opportunities to drive growth and generate employment despite challenges within the business landscape, ranging from economic uncertainties to infrastructural and policy constraints.

In a message to the business community on the occasion of the 2025 Easter celebration, President of ACCI, Chief Emeka Obegolu, urged entrepreneurs, investors, and corporate leaders to embrace the spirit of hope, renewal, and resilience that Easter embodies.

Obegolu emphasised that the season presents a valuable opportunity for reflection, innovation, and renewed commitment to enterprise development.

While he extended warm Easter greetings to the business community in Abuja and across Nigeria, Obegolu reminded them that Easter symbolises new beginnings.

“It reminds us of the power of perseverance and the importance of unity in the face of adversity. As business leaders and economic drivers, we must continue to innovate, support one another, and advocate for policies that foster a more robust and sustainable economic environment,” he said.

As the leader of the Organised Private Sector (OPS) in the Federal Capital Territory and its environs, Chief Obegolu reaffirmed the chamber’s dedication to promoting private sector growth through strategic partnerships, effective advocacy, and capacity-building initiatives aimed at enhancing competitiveness and attracting investment.

He encouraged members of the business community to use the Easter period to reflect on their goals and explore new opportunities that can drive growth and generate employment, especially in light of Nigeria’s current economic realities.

“As we celebrate Easter, let us remain hopeful and focused on building an inclusive economy where businesses of all sizes can thrive,” Obegolu said, and wished all Nigerians, especially ACCI members and partners, a peaceful, joyful, and prosperous Easter celebration.
