Abe's Muffins Expands Range With New School-Friendly Vegan Iced Cakes

Published 16 hours ago2 minute read

Abe’s Muffins, a US-based producer of vegan and school-friendly treats, has expanded its range with a new line of mini sheet cakes called Iced Cakes.

The cakes are available in two everyday flavors (Vanilla and Chocolate), along with two seasonal flavors (Pumpkin and Gingerbread). They are all made without major allergens such as peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, egg, soy, sesame, or pea protein.

Inspired by birthday cakes, the products feature a rich frosting and rainbow sprinkles, all made from natural colors. According to Abe’s Muffins, an average of two children per classroom have a food allergy*, and the new cakes could help to ensure inclusive celebrations.

Abe’s Muffins manufactures its products at an allergy-friendly bakery in West Nyack, New York. The cakes do not contain artificial flavors, preservatives, or chemicals, and the company prioritizes sourcing non-GMO, all-natural ingredients.

“We launched our Iced Cakes due to the extremely positive reception of our school-friendly and vegan cupcake line, which has gained excellent traction in retailers like Sprouts nationwide,” said Tiffany Syrop, head of marketing and sales at Abe’s Muffins.

The Iced Cakes will launch immediately at Wegmans and Fresh Direct, before arriving at other selected retailers US-wide later this year.
