High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo, has thrown his weight behind President Bola Tinubu’s bid for re-election in 2027, describing him as a visionary and transformational leader, who deserved another term to consolidate his achievements.

Tompolo’s endorsement was contained in a goodwill message delivered on his behalf by Mr. Edgar Daniel Biu at a Press Conference, weekend, organised by PBAT Door-To-Door Movement held at the NAF Conference Centre, Abuja.

He noted that Tinubu’s administration has recorded remarkable successes that have positively impacted various sectors of the nation’s economy and promoted national unity.

Also, one of the foremost groups in the South South, Coalition of Niger Deltans for Equity and Justice (CNDEJ), has advised the northern coalition led by former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar and Ex-Kaduna State governor, Malam Nasir El’Rufai led Coalition against truncating the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.

The group warned that there would be no peace should the northern coalition achieved its aim of denying the sitting president and in turn the southern part of the country of serving it’s eight years tenure as enshrined in the constitution.

CNDEJ, in a statement signed by its Spokesman, Meshach Bebenimibo, noted that Tinubu would surely complete his first tenure and win the reelection, thereby completing his eight years in office.

According to Tompolo, the president’s economic reforms have not only rescued the national economy from imminent collapse but also improved the ease of doing business and fostered shared prosperity.

He highlighted the prevailing peace and stability in the Niger Delta attributing it to the president’s commitment to development and security in the region.

Tompolo commended Tinubu’s administration for its decisive action against crude oil theft, pipeline vandalism, and sea piracy, which, he said, had disrupted oil production and stifled socio-economic growth in the past.

He expressed confidence that Tinubu would achieve even more in a second term, urging Nigerians to rally behind the president to ensure continued delivery of democratic dividends.

The PBAT Door-To-Door Movement, he said, was aimed at mobilising nationwide support for Tinubu’s re-election in 2027 stressing that collective participation and unity of purpose were crucial to the success of the mission.

Tompolo called on members of the movement to stay committed to its noble objectives declaring, “Together, we will succeed. We cannot afford to fail.”
