2027 Election War Chest: Uba Sani Doles Out Land & Cash to APC Ward Chairmen!

Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has initiated a comprehensive strategy to empower All Progressives Congress (APC) ward chairmen across the state, ahead of the 2027 general elections. This initiative includes the allocation of 255 plots of land, accompanied by cash, to each of the 255 APC ward chairmen. The announcement was made by Bashir Garba Ibrahim, Director-General of the Kaduna Geographic Information Service (KADGIS), who represented Governor Sani at a capacity-building workshop for APC Ward and local government chairmen held in Kaduna.

According to Governor Sani, this land allocation is a demonstration of his administration's commitment to empowering party stakeholders and fostering stronger grassroots participation. The workshop itself was specifically designed to equip APC grassroots leaders with essential skills, particularly in deploying modern communication tools. These tools are intended to enable them to effectively promote the party's candidates, mobilize voters, communicate government programmes, and actively counter misinformation.

Governor Sani explicitly tasked APC ward and local government leaders with the critical responsibility of countering propaganda and misinformation directed against the party and its candidates, especially across various social media platforms. He urged all party members to vigorously defend the APC, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his administration, as well as the Kaduna State government. Sani emphasized that the party must not remain silent while opponents allegedly inundate the social media space with what he described as "lies and propaganda."

Furthermore, Governor Sani took the opportunity to enumerate the significant achievements of the APC government in Kaduna State. These accomplishments include the construction of numerous roads, schools, and hospitals, alongside ongoing efforts to enhance security and improve vital infrastructure across the state. The governor concluded by urging the party's grassroots leaders to intensify their mobilization efforts within communities. He encouraged APC members to actively engage with traders, religious leaders, politicians, various associations, and other community groups in the lead-up to the elections, with the aim of convincing them to vote for the party and all its candidates.
