Buxar: Two members of a wedding party died and nine others sustained injuries when an SUV collided with another four-wheeler near Ramgarh village on NH-922 under Brahmpur police station area of Buxar district late Friday night.

The incident took place when they were returning home after attending the marriage in the night.According to police, local people admitted all the injured people to the primary health centre, Raghunathpur, where doctors declared two of them dead. Four people were referred to Buxar sadar hospital in critical condition, while five injured are being treated at the PHC. The deceased were identified as Monu Bind (22), son of Kinu Bind of Bhariyar village under Chakki police station in Buxar district, and Radhika Kumari (15), daughter of Sumit Bind, a native of Charghat under Bihiya police station area of Bhojpur district.Police said Luv Kush Bind, son of Sanjay Bind of Bhariyar village under Chakki police station area, got married to Renu Kumari, daughter of Bandhu Bind, a resident of Ara at Brahmpur. The incident occurred at around 11pm on Friday when the groom's side were returning to their village after attending the wedding ceremony.Brahmpur SHO Suresh Kumar said, "On being informed, the police reached the spot and took the injured persons to Raghunathpur PHC for treatment.

The bodies of the deceased have been sent to Buxar sadar hospital for postmortem.
